Portescap is working closely with our customers to continue to provide miniature motors and precision motion control solutions for medical devices and clinical diagnostics which are essential to the fight against Covid-19. Portescap has been a leading expert in miniature motors and precision motion control solutions for medical devices and clinical diagnostics for many decades and we’re proud to be able to play an important role during this crucial time.  Brushless DC motors and brush DC motors are vital for life-saving medical devices.   

The definition of innovating is to make changes to what is already establish. At Portescap we are always innovating, improving upon our processes and products to add value. Community organizations across the country are doing the same thing, they are changing our community and our world by building upon what is established. A Day of Caring is an opportunity where our team of innovators can come together with community innovators to help make our community a better place. 

During the month of July, Portescap partnered with the non-profit organization Home of the Sparrow to collect school supplies for underprivileged families in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Home of the Sparrow works with women who are facing homelessness to help them secure housing, achieve long-term stability, and chart new paths for the future. Everyone at Portescap was excited to partner up with this organization as we share the same guiding principles of excellence, compassion, collaboration, and community.

Make in India Fosters Economic Growth

The Make in India initiative was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in September of 2014. The mission of Make in India is to establish India as a manufacturing hub and to put it on the global map by removing outdated processes and policies and by replacing them with the promise of a transparent, user-friendly system. The Prime Minister’s own website states that the campaign was launched to “facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property & build best in class manufacturing infrastructure.” This initiative has indeed inspired both manufacturing and infrastructure investment as well as enhanced other facets of economic growth.
